Pittsburgh Firefighters Memorial Pipe Band
The purpose of the pipe band is to represent all of the past and present members of Pittsburgh Fire Fighters Local No. 1. The pipe band is open to fire fighters, family members and friends. Professional instruction is available for those interested in learning to play the pipe or drums. The band is available for parades, weddings, funerals, etc.
Pittsburgh Police Emerald Society Pipes and Drums
The Pittsburgh Police Emerald Society Pipes and Drums is a service band open to all sworn Law Enforcement Officers, active or retired. Formed in April 2001 after realizing there was a need for a fitting tribute for those in the law enforcement community who have paid the supreme sacrifice, the band has been honored to participate in many funeral services to honor public safety workers in and around the City of Pittsburgh.
Calliope: The Pittsburgh Folk Music Society
Since 1976, Calliope has been a nonprofit educational and presenting organization that promotes and preserves traditional and contemporary folk music and its allied arts. Calliope programs are unique to western Pennsylvania, including its concert series, music school, and annual festival.

Clan Morrison Society of North America
Now offering scholarship grants for advanced study in the performing arts related to Scottish heritage. The number of grants and the amounts offered will be announced at or near the beginning of each calendar year. Applications for these grants must be received by the Society no later than March 31. Awards will be announced by the Society by June 1.
First Presbyterian Church of Pittsburgh

Ligonier Highland Games
One of the oldest (over 50 years) and largest Highland games in the US. The Ligonier Highland Games are held on the first weekend in September after Labor Day. Saturday's events take place in Idlewild Park located three miles west of Ligonier, Pennsylvania and 45 miles east of Pittsburgh.

The Voice's Mpingo Conservation Project
In a first-of-its-kind arrangement, The Voice collaborates with the Mpingo Conservation Project to connect Highland pipers with a way to help the tree that has given them so much for so long. Proceeds from the sale of each t-shirt will be donated to the Mpingo Conservation Project, which promotes sustainable and socially equitable exploitation of mpingo (African blackwood) timber.
